LOS ANGELES (November 20, 2014) – A new survey conducted among Luxury Link site users reveals that 79% of the travelers surveyed rarely or never use a travel agent. Of the site users surveyed, 63% do not stay at the same hotel when returning to a favorite destination. In addition, 69% of the brand loyalists surveyed said an incentive, promotion or lower rate would entice them to try a new hotel on a repeat visit. Of their site users, 40% have a HHI of greater than $200K, and 16% have a portfolio of greater than $1M. Every year 90% travel domestically and 66% travel internationally, and they spend 3.6 times as much as the average American Express consumer on their travels.
